Ft. Bend Junior Service League's A Journey Through Literature Book and Author Event benefiting the Literacy League of Ft. Bend County was a resounding success. Pictured here is budding author Chelsea Stanford, a 7th grader at a middle school in Plano, Texas who was signing her book The Runaway Hotel at the event. She is accompanied by her Aunt, Lindsay Travis, who is the book's illustrator. CBS News Sara Dodd was featuring Chelsea and her book on her Sunday news broadcast in Dallas.
